Description |
John Shelby Spong will be speaking in Boise on what will hopefully become an annual lecture series. Spong is a visionary voice in the religious community, calling people to step beyond the boundaries of tribe, prejudice, gender, and even religion to create a new humanity. We are hoping not to only attract the thoughtful, discerning members of our own congragations, but also those in the larger community searching for new and perhaps deeper understanding of God, the universe, and our place in it.
